"In a Yellow House" photo challenge, etc.....

So, I came across this new photo challenge (well, new to me) over at
Ramblings and Photos
this morning, and the subject was "On the Road"..... so I knew I HAD to link up, as I had just recently taken some photos that fit it to a tee!

(This first photo is my entry)

Where did I take that photo, you ask?

Hanging out the window of our family car, going 80mph, on Watkins Glen Speedway......

We got to spend a night near there, recently, and my husband, being a HUGE Nascar fan, was nearly giddy when he found out you could pay to do three laps on the track!

Our Racecar....

Vroom Vroom Baby! ....... What? You don't believe me that we took a Dodge Grand Caravan on a Nascar track and drove it 80mph?

My RaceCar driver.......

he was hug'n the curves, while I was up'n the shutter speed. I stuck a UV filter on the end of my lens to protect it, and went to town! It was a GORGEOUS day for photos!

and I had a blast getting to spend some time, just me and my hubby......something that doesn't happen very often, but I treasure it when it does!

I'm also gonna piggyback on this post and link up with a Tuesday blog hop!

These are so cool, this is my hubby's dream. He bought a Jaguar for a steal a few years back and I never let him open it up. Maybe I should look for one of these near our house.

Thanks for sharing.

How funny! I saw that photo and thought "Hey, that looks familiar!!" We live about 35 minutes from W.G.I. My husband spent the weekend driving golf carts at the Glen for NASCAR weekend.
These are great shots.
