This little one looks adorable with the hat and pearls! My .02 cents on this. The top of the hat looks too blown out and loses some detail. I would also not crop out her leg on the left of the picture but keep that whole chubby body in.
onel ast thing I noticed on viewing it larger is that your focus is on her hands. Did you want it that way? Usually, I see the focus on the face wher you see detail, especially in the eyes.
Other than these nit-picky things, I think you have a really sweet image!
hehe....you know what? When I took this shot, it was just a test shot. I was seeing if I could get away with using my 85mm lens, as the room I was in was tiny, but it's my best lens right now...(hence why her feet were cropped out and the focus is on her hands....lol) Once I got home and got it off the camera though, I really loved it and decided it was a keeper :)
Nice contrast on this.....very nice b&w. I totally understand about deciding to keep the test shoot, i think in that situation (since you can't go back) I might actually crop it in a little tighter? Hard to say for sure until you actually see it that way, but i feel like if you went in tighter you might loose the limb chopped look. Very cute though!
Such a cute shot! Love those little rolls :-) I agree with the hat being a little blown out at the top. And another I noticed was the cropping around her feet. Her right leg is somewhat blown out and gets lost in the blanket pattern. And her left foot is cropped in the middle. Maybe consider doing a closeup of just her face, or repositioning those tiny feet. I know how hard photographing wiggly babies are, so this is such a sweet photo! Great job and I love the black and white!
So sweet... I also would have cropped it differently, but I just love people who think outside the box! I also love the softness of the b&w...great job!
OH my goodness. LOVE the rolls! :) I love this picture very much, but I think the top of the hat gets washed out a little. Everything else is perfect! :D
I love how sharp and clear this photo is! I read where this was a test shot.... it would have been even more amazing if her leg wasn't cut off. But otherwise this is such a cute shot!!
Beautiful photos! Lovely blog! Glad I found it via Ashley Sisk's blog :) I will most certainly be back to learn a little more about you! ~Angel www.livinginaperrytale.com

Lovely black and white, I would crop less and keep her little legs in.

I do like it but I would maybe straighten it. It looks like she is falling. Other then that it is adorable!!
