Since I'm not sure when I'm gonna be home again today, I thought I'd get this up now!

Macro Friday

Falling asleep on my feet.....packing a house full of six people's belongings is ROUGH...

Should be closing on the house in the next few weeks. Letter of commitment on track for Wednesday....then about 14 more days or so until we close.

I'm gonna check out everyone else's photos in the morning.....but for now, I FINALLY found a butterfly!

It's Friday, and I haven't had much time at all to take Macro shots this week! lol

It's still one of my favorite times of the week!

This week, I'm using a macro shot I took for my photography class.....it was a simple object assignment...



Inspired by my child, who left Mr. Whale cracker sitting all my his lonesome on the chair......

Happy Friday everyone!

Today is an AWESOME Friday... I'm so excited and honored my shot won last week.....AND we get to surprise our kids today with an out-of-the-blue trip to a big amusement park! Does Friday get any better than this????



So, here's my shot for this week..... my first macro with my new camera!

Not nearly as cool and shocking as my first lizard, but hey, I like it! :)

Macro Friday! Lizard Lips!

So, the other day, I was shooting, and I went to our next door neighbor's house, as I had promised their little boy I'd take some Macro shots of his frogs........

Well, it just so happened, his cousin pulled up as I was walking over, with this not-so little guy in tow....

He is seriously, one of the neatest looking reptiles I've ever seen(in person). While I may be afraid of bugs, reptiles and I are cool..... yeah, we go way back! At least they are usually large enough where they don't sneak up on me!

On Friday, no less! Go figure!
Here's my submission, but lots more macro below! It was so hard to pick one!

So, I saved these shots all week for Marco Friday! This ladies garden was amazing..... I say garden, but it is wild...... more like going through a field of wildflowers. She had a few potted plants for sale on her front stairs.

Macro....ehem..."Friday".....

Still digging out from a huge pile of photos......but I didn't get to join Macro Friday last week, so I had to make sure I joined in this week! Even if it's a day or two late!

This woman has an AMAZING backyard... the flowers make you feel like a little kid. Sunflowers that are, seriously, 7 or 8 feet tall..... I felt like Alice in Wonderland!

I knocked on her door, and she was gracious enough to let me have free reign photographing her yard.

So, here it my Macro Friday shot for the week.
