Macro Shot!

So, for the last three weeks, I've been attempting to remember I wanted to hook up to Marco Friday....

This week, I finally remembered, you know.... on Friday!

So, I am still playing around with my Marco lens.... having a blast!



Here's the conversation with my husband that was had while I was editing this shot.

Husband: "Why did you take a photo of a fly?"
Me: "Well, I want to link up for Marco Friday, and I'm still learning this new lens, and....hey, did you know flies had hair on their butts?"
Husband: (shaking his head) "But you HATE bugs!"
Me: "I know, but I love Macro... besides, he's not armed, and not in my house, so I'm ok with it."
Husband: "You realize you are vignetting a photo of a Poop fly, right?"
Me: (with a smile) "Yup! Ain't it great?" (Big Cheesy Grin)

Birthday Gift! - Macro Adapter Lens!

My wonderful husband got me a macro adapter lens for my birthday!











Well, it came in the mail yesterday! I've been having a blast playing with it!


















I have no idea what I'm doing, and it's a really cheap Macro adapter, but I didn't want to spend a whole lot on one, to find out that after the initial excitement wears off, it sits in my camera bag!

























But man, oh man, I don't see the fun wearing off anytime soon!











































In my shooting macro shots of any one or thing that let me get close enough, I happened upon THIS amorous couple...... in the front lawn, no less!










Still working through the other 8,000 shots I took this afternoon....... I may be up for a little while tonight.. :)
