So, here is my sooc shot this week
When I took this shot, I had an idea in my head.....I knew I wanted to highlight the ring, and I liked the contrast of the ring on the black of the coats. They were walking as I took the shot, and I wasn't 100% happy with the framing.
I went through all the usual initial editing stuff in Lightroom, then tossed it over to CS5. The first thing I did in CS5 is get a better crop....one that better matched the picture I had in my head when I was trying to take the shot! Then I ran an action I created the other day, that gives it a kinda creamy chocolatey kinda black and white look.
This is the final result:

This looks really nice - I like the new crop and that creamy black and white. Beautiful job.
Oh, my goodness! Love it!! You started with a great sooc shot and I loved how you were able to make it into what you imagined!
Hope you start feeling better! The flu has arrived at my house -- I'm hoping to avoid it's full effects till this weekend, but we'll see! :)
beautifully done! hope you are feeling better!
I hope your flu is all gone!
I really like the sepia tones in the edit.
lovely image with quite a bit of a silent statement behind it, stunning in fact!
hope you are feeling better, our family too has been ill all week & it's starting to take its toll... sending well wishes to you & yours!!! Happy Thursday!
The crop is good since the man's head was cut anyway. I like the pose, the soft snowflakes on her back and the b/w treatment.
Wow your edit is soo amazing. It's dreamy & romantic. I hope you're feeling better =) Love your blog! New follower!! xx
So excelletn!
Nice crop. Great job highlighting your vision in the final result. The b&w and crop makes the ring really pop! It's a sweet shot.

This is beautiful! I love the chocolatey look of it - luscious and rich!
Oh, I'm such a fan of the chocolatey b&w conversions!
